BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Lyniata global leader in healthcare data interoperability, today announced that corepointthe best of the company in KLAS® integration engine, is now available for deployment as a service to meet the needs of customers wishing to migrate from on-premises to cloud-based deployments. Additionally, Lyniate recently obtained ISO 27001 certification for all of its offerings, validating the company’s commitment to information security and meeting the highest international standards. These two accomplishments solidify Lyniate’s position as a leader in healthcare data integration and interoperability solutions, evidenced by Epic’s recent decision to select Lyniate as its data integration services partner for its garden plot offer for medical practices.

New Corepoint Cloud Deployment The offering is built on AWS, giving customers all the benefits of the industry’s leading cloud platform, and includes an intuitive user interface for migrating, developing, and managing interfaces. A team of Lyniate professionals supports the solution, managing each customer instance to ensure system resiliency, speed, and security. Corepoint cloud deployment customers also receive key security upgrades and patches, business continuity services, hardware maintenance, and a robust disaster recovery program.

“For many healthcare organizations, the pandemic has accelerated their plans to migrate from infrastructure to the cloud, and Corepoint is now able to help them with this endeavour,” said Erkan Akyuz, CEO of Lyniate. “With aggressive growth targets and streamlined workforces, healthcare IT teams are increasingly focused on leveraging interoperability as a service offering that gives them the ability to integrate and innovate quickly while freeing up valuable resources for strategic initiatives. The Lyniate team is already working with several of our customers to migrate their interface engine functionality to the cloud, and we look forward to expanding this work as more of our customers adopt this approach.

Organizations can experience many benefits when migrating to a cloud deployment, such as flexibility, reduced risk, increased security, faster deployment, agile development, resiliency, and scalability. The flexibility offered by Corepoint in the cloud can translate into cost savings and capital expenditure reallocation for teams that no longer need to host and manage integrations independently. The new cloud deployment option can also work with an on-premises engine, in a hybrid capacity, supporting flexible growth and gradual transitions.

Earlier this year, Lyniate achieved ISO 27001 information security certification for all of its product and service offerings, including the new Corepoint cloud deployment option.

“This ISO 27001 certification demonstrates our commitment to maintaining compliance, security and business continuity for all of our customers,” said Scott Galbari, President, COO and CISO of Lyniate. “More than 1,500 healthcare organizations rely on us as their trusted partner, and complying with complex security and privacy regulations, including GDPR and HIPAA, is just one of the ways we earn that trust. Another way is to listen to our customers and meet them where they are, which is why we’re launching Corepoint as a service for healthcare delivery organizations making the leap to the cloud.

ISO 27001 is a widely recognized and accepted information security standard around the world that details specific requirements for a comprehensive Information Security Management System (ISMS). The standard defines best practices for managing information securely, including implementing appropriate security controls for risk mitigation.
