Ingram Micro announced on Friday its new flexible subscription engine to help partners manage their recurring service revenue.
The distributor says it is a fully automated subscription lifecycle platform for Ingram Micro vendors and partners. The online computing engine was designed to provide a frictionless experience for subscriptions and licenses.
The new platform offers Ingram Micro’s distribution partners a digital journey “from quote to cash”. This will allow them to proactively manage and better develop their recurring revenue business, says Ingram Micro.
The solution provides suppliers and partners with real-time visibility into the subscription contract lifecycle. It also offers quotes and automated service validation for ordering, procurement and invoicing. In addition, it activates subscription renewal notifications for all services and licenses.
Ingram Micro says it also increases value creation with upgrades and complementary services for complete product solutions.
Paul Bay, executive vice president and president, Global Technology Solutions, Ingram Micro, notes the rapid shift to an “everything as a service” model.
This raises “expectations around experience and demanding organizations embrace digitization and innovate for the benefit of all stakeholders,” he said.

The flexible subscription engine is now available for US partners and “coming soon” for partners around the world. However, Ingram Micro gives a first look at the new flexible subscription engine during its ONE Ingram Micro virtual event next week.
