The Gorakhpur fertilizer plant will be operated by Hindustan Urvarak Rasayan Limited (HURL). Officials say the Gorakhpur AIIMS, built at the cost of ??1,011 crore, will benefit not only the residents of eastern Uttar Pradesh, but also those of Bihar, Jharkhand and Nepal with its world-class healthcare facilities.
The regional medical research center set up at the cost of ??36 crore will make it easier to test and find vector-borne diseases, they added. The high-tech lab will reduce the region’s reliance on large cities for testing related to vector-borne diseases.
