This significant growth builds on the momentum of the business in the first quarter of 2022, which also saw triple-digit growth.

International expansion plans are underway, with Europe being the first market by early 2023.

Three-digit growth at all levels

Hotel Engine’s strong booking growth was driven by triple-digit increases in business accounts, members and headcount. In the first half, the company added:

  • More than 11,000 companies to its clientele
  • Over 143,000 individual members
  • 280,000 new hotels and partner accommodation
  • 274 new partners

The company also strengthened the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) with three new appointments: Harrison Doyle as Vice President of Finance and Ali Jarosh as Vice President of Account Management at Apriland Dave Oldershaw, Senior Vice President of Operations, in June.

Customer-focused innovations and security enhancements

Hotel Engine added more than 100 innovative new features to its platform in the first half. The enhancements range from improving the customer experience to expanding the company’s security compliance, allowing it to better serve large enterprises.
