UK-based digital healthcare company Clinova has released Caidr 3.0, the latest version of its health and wellness search engine for smart personal care.

Key features include a search tool for health topics, treatments and products, as well as wellness messages and content and local health tips while traveling abroad.

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT

The architecture of the application is designed by a medical team of pharmacists and physicians with over 250 years of combined experience in patient interactions.

Caidr’s natural language model enables system-wide updates of over 212,000 words of content in just under 0.9 seconds.

The health search engine uses a medical lexicon of over 97,000 medical terms covering nine medical specialties. Caidr’s natural language processor uses algorithms to create personalized streams of health content and respond to user search requests.

THE BROADER CONTEXT

Spanish startup Seqera Labs has raised $ 5.5 million (€ 4.7 million) in seed funding as part of a cycle co-led by European venture capital firms Talis Capital and Speedinvest.

The Babylon digital health chatbot is expanding its work in Rwanda, with the aim of making it easier for people without a mobile phone number to access its health services.

ON THE RECORD

Arsalan Karim, Co-Founder of Clinova, said: “Caidr 3.0 delivers on our long-term vision to bring the full power of its health and wellness data platform to your mobile device. With a search bar at the center of a redesigned user interface, Caidr Search is both easy to find and simple to use. You just enter a health topic you’d like to know more about, and Caidr takes care of the rest.

“If your query sounds familiar, Caidr creates an article on the health topics you’ve researched, along with a list of products for smart personal care. This update, available for download today, showcases the expertise of Clinova’s medical team. The content of Caidr is clear, informative and, most importantly, good for your health. “
