Google honors Dr. Ildaura Murillo-Rohde during Hispanic American Heritage Month by depicting her through a graphic image on the Doodle Wednesday. The image shows the inspiring figure and the educator in nurse attire with her associates in the background. Born September 6, 1920, the Panamanian-American nurse was a founding figure in the creation of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN). She has dedicated her life to improving underprivileged communities and supporting other Hispanic nurses.
