Nadda lambasted the state government at the party workers’ meeting, named ‘Trideb’, held here at Janata Maidan.

Alleging that bad governance and corruption have prevailed everywhere in Oidsha, Nadda urged party workers, naming them Trideb (Brahma, Bishnu and Maheswar), to go to people’s doorsteps and sensitize them to government failures. state and at the same time inform them of the various pro-people programs adopted by the Center and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s special love for Odisha.

Highlighting the issue of Aayushman Bharat, he expressed his displeasure saying that more than 60 lakh Odisha have been deprived of the health benefits provided by the Aayushman Bharat Yojana due to the autocratic attitude of the government of Odisha.

“11 crores of families, comprising 50 crores of people, have been covered by the Aayushman Bharat Yojana. But 60 lakh poor in Odisha have been deprived of free treatment benefits as the state government has yet to implement the scheme,” he said.

Stating that Telangana and other states have implemented Aayusman Bharat Yojana for the benefit of their people, he wanted to know from the party workers whether the health program should be implemented in Odisha or not.

He alleged that the Odisha government charges for the MGNREGA schemes while the Narendra Modi government has already provided Rs 15,490 crore under the scheme to provide jobs to the poor.

Speaking about Prime Minister Awas Yojana, he said, “The government of Odisha has branded PMAY as Biju Pucca Ghar Yojana which is very disappointing.”

He said protectors have become destroyers in the state. “I heard that three former ministers were facing murder charges in the state. Is it good governance, ”he wanted to know.

Raising the question of Ratna Bandar of Shreemandir, Nadda said that the treasure house remained unsafe now. “Sometimes keys are lost and other times duplicate keys are found. When a duplicate government runs the state, it is certain that duplicate keys will be found,” Nadda ridiculed.

Claiming that the Modi government has provided sufficient funds for the purchase of ambulances, Nadda criticized the Odisha government for transporting corpses on bicycles and pregnant women giving birth to babies on the roads in rural pockets.

Stating that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a special love for Odisha, Nadda said he has already donated national institutes like AIIMS, IISER and IIM to the state. “The rulers of Odisha have been appointed as central ministers and governors. And it is a matter of pride for every Odia that Draupadi Murmu has become the first citizen of India,” he said.

He said 40.5 lakh of Odisha now receive aid of 6,000 a year under the PM KISAN scheme.

He urged the party workers to reach out to the people and sensitize them on these issues so that a dual engine government will come in 2024 and Odisha will see development.
